It´s been about a month since our local
carnival has finished. But don´t despair. This time we bring news about
a carnival that you won´t want to miss.
One of the most popular, and
spectacular carnivals in Europe, and possibly not as well known in Spain, “The
Notting Hill Carnival” is celebrated in London in August.
You can see a parade with floats, steel
drum bands, and colourful costumes. There are live performances on the main
stage and music tents throughout the carnival with many types of music like
reggae, bass, jazz, hip hop, swing and blues.
And while you’re enjoying the different
sounds that the carnival has to offer you can take in
the aromas of the Caribbean that embrace London’s west end and even enjoy the
variety of dishes from the food stalls that are alined along the streets.

contests, parades, all types of music, food, and innumerable activities, variety is definitely the spice of
life of this carnival.
And when you’re done you can carry on partying at the many Notting Hill Carnival
